Hennepin Arts’ 2025-2026 Bank of American Broadway on Hennepin season will bring 11 Broadway productions to downtown Minneapolis, including “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” and “Wicked.”
The upcoming season, announced Thursday night, starts with “A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical” in late September and ends with “Wicked” after a monthlong run next August.

- A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical: Sept. 30-Oct. 5, 2025
- The Phantom of the Opera: Nov. 21-Dec. 7, 2025
- The Wiz: Dec. 16-21, 2025
- Shucked: Jan. 6-11, 2026
- Chicago: Jan. 27-Feb. 1, 2026
- Les Misérables: Feb. 17-22, 2026
- Water for Elephants: March 3-8, 2026
- Suffs: April 7-12, 2026
- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: April 25-May 23, 2026
- The Great Gatsby: June 2-7, 2026
- Wicked: July 8-Aug. 9
The lineup includes seven Minnesota premieres and represents 34 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Play, and Best Revival of a Musical.
“This season showcases Broadway’s brilliance, offering performances that inspire audiences across generations,” Hennepin Arts President and CEO Todd Duesing said in a statement. “At Hennepin Arts, we strive to ignite and radiate a vibrant cultural presence that enriches our community and positions downtown Minneapolis as a premier destination for arts and entertainment.”
Hennepin Arts estimates that Broadway on Hennepin shows attract about 400,000 people each year to downtown Minneapolis.
Subscription packages for the upcoming season range from $384 to $1,259 and grant access to eight of the 11 shows. “Les Misérables,” “Chicago,” and “Wicked” aren’t included in packages and require separate ticket purchases.
All of the shows will be staged at the Orpheum Theatre, 910 Hennepin Ave.
