Chef Vincent Francoual is reviving his upscale French restaurant for one night in downtown Minneapolis.
His current casual French eatery, Chloe by Vincent in the Mill District, will host the Vincent A Restaurant pop-up Dec. 23 starting at 5:30 p.m., offering a five-course meal with a wine or non-alcoholic cocktail pairing. Tickets are $130 and reservations are required.
Francoual owned and operated Vincent A Restaurant, his first-ever restaurant, on Nicollet Mall across from Orchestra Hall from 2001 to 2015.
The pop-up menu features the seafood cappuccino from 2001, rice poha-crusted halibut from 2006, pan-seared foie gras from 2015, braised wild boar in raspberry beer “crepinette” from 2008, and Louis XV chocolate cake from 2005.
Francoual partnered with Restore Restaurant Holdings, owner of EaTo, to open Chloe by Vincent in late 2022.
Chloe by Vincent is located at 700 S. Third St. in the Canopy by Hilton hotel.
