The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild’s annual Autumn Brew Review will be back at Boom Island Park during its usual weekend, with hemp-derived THC beverages, special brewery collaborations, and a llama petting zoo.
This year’s Autumn Brew Review takes place Oct. 12 from 1:30-5 p.m. Right now, tickets are $69 for general admission, $90 for VIP early entry, and $22 for the non-altering option, but prices go up come October. The beer festival typically sells out ahead of time.
Breweries from across the state will partner on new brews for the festival. Attendees will be the first – and possibly only – group to try these collaborative beers.
“Twenty years ago, Autumn Brew Review was the festival for debuting new fall and winter beers in Minnesota,” Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild Executive Director Jess Talley said in a statement. “This year, we wanted to pay homage to that history, but with a twist of featuring brand new collaboration brews that fans haven’t seen anywhere else yet.”
Hemp-derived THC beverages are a first this year at Autumn Brew Review since it recently became fully legal for Minnesota breweries to sell the drinks in their taprooms alongside beer.
Grunge Unplugged and Some Sh¡tty Cover Band will provide live tunes during the event, plus a petting zoo by Happy Jolly Llamas, another new addition. There will also be food trucks, shops, artists, and other activities.
The Autumn Brew Review is Minnesota’s longest-running craft beer festival. It’s a seasonal fundraiser for the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild, a nonprofit made up of more than 165 brewery and brewpub members.
The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild also puts on the MN Brewers Cup, the MN Brewers Conference, All Pints North, and the Brewed in Minnesota exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair.
